I look at my bucketlist and I realize now that I am missing some things.. I am missing all the things that I thought would never come true. Walk on the moon, see the great wall of china, climb the tallest mountian, and stand in death valley. The reason they are not on the list is simple, I never expected to do them. I thought I needed to keep my bucketlist obtainable. To see the Great Pyramids in Egypt is on the fantasy list with all the others, until this week, my step-son Kevin P. has given me the opportunity to not only dream of seeing the pyramids but he has made it possible for that dream to come true. Thank you Kevin, Thank you...
Thoughts determine what you want, Actions determine what you get...
The heart break of everyone's dreams is that they never become a reality, all they do is think about them. Because they have a fear if they act on them they may not be able to achieve them. Well I promise if all you do is think about your dreams you will never achieve them. What are you going to do to achieve YOUR dreams.
November 20th I leave for Madrid Spain, Saturday the 22nd I expect to leave Spain for Egypt. I will also be diving the Red Sea if altitude restrictions permit (I am not sure Kevin P. has thought this one out) You cannot fly 24 hours after you dive..

Okay, this is NOT fair - I'm the one with all the Egypt stuff all over the house. I'm the one who reads every book about Egypt I can get my hands on. I'm the one who cried when I stood in front of the artifacts from Tut's tomb in Chicago. I love you so much, but I'm afraid I'm a little jealous! Have a FANTASTIC time and remember every little detail so you can share it all with me. MOM
I am happy for you and Kevin to have such a wonderful opportunity. I think life is about taking chances and doing things that you never thought you could or would do. I am glad it took a know-it-all 19 year old for you to open your eyes to how easy it is to live in the moment.
