There's no going backWindows 7 is faster than Windows Vista, but not by much -- and it's still slower than XP. It's less secure than Vista in its default configuration, but it's also light-years ahead of both of its older siblings when it comes to usability. Reliability is up, as is compatibility, but these trends have more to do with an industry that is finally catching up with the Vista security and driver models than with any new Windows 7 capability in particular.
In fact, outside of the reworked Taskbar (which is a killer feature), there's very little truly new about Windows 7. Rather, it's the culmination of an all-out, no-holds-barred, failure-is-not-an-option attempt by Microsoft to salvage the nearly five years it invested in designing and implementing the Windows Vista architecture. In this regard, Windows 7 is really more like Vista R2 -- Microsoft's attempt to take a second pass at the product and finally get it right.
If I were to score this comparison like a boxing match, I'd have to call it a draw, with the final nod going to Windows 7 if for no other reason than it drives the existing technology base forward, while opening the platform to new and more powerful hardware. IT shops that choose to adopt Windows 7 will likely not be disappointed. It's a solid-all-around product that matches up well with today's PC landscape. Windows 7 is still very much Vista at its core, and no amount of tweaking or UI paint will change that fact. But Microsoft finally did get it right.
Hats off to Windows XP -- it had a great run. But change is in the air, and it smells like Windows 7.

Saftey Who Worries about that? - Pick a Pic
I think it is funny that this country tries harder and harder to make it impossible to be stupid. Which only promotes the problem to the next level, because stupid people breed. I am sure you are going to find this hard to believe but natural selection has a purpose and if all the smart people gang together and tell people like the guy in the picture above that he is wrong (A two by four is never enough to hold a truck three feet off the ground and perhaps he should not be under it). Will we not someday further our race right into the ground.
Here's an example: Warning tags on hair dryers that warn against using product in shower. If you have to use a hair dryer in the shower, maybe we don't need you.
Or
Caution food coming out of the microwave is hot.. No shit, really? I know it is unlikely that anyone would kill themselves with a hot burrito but you get the point.
Seat belts in cars and helmets on motorcycles. We're forced to wear seat belts in cars now. Sure, its a good thing but perhaps we could cull the heard a little if we let the unintelligent masses who prefer not to wear seat belts, to shoot through the windshield at 70 miles an hour.
Finally my favorite, Motorcycle helmets. Reverse evolution at full throttle. We have seat belt laws to keep us safe in armoured chariots that can do a 100 but when you ride basically an engine with wheels you don't even have to wear a shirt. Stupid people fought long and hard to reverse that law and I give reverse evolution props for that one.
If you have not seen it yet run out and rent idiocracy. You will love it.

I don't know.. I think it was that I was surfing around and noticing how many truly dumb tattoos there are in the world and decided to stop on over at godaddy.com and check to see if the name was available. Guess what.. It was.. so I added another site www.dumbtattoos.com. I have a heck of a collection of them and will post them as time permits. (Great just what I needed another site to work on)
